Toward a More Perfect Union: Conversations About the US Constitution--our second conversation in the three part series is coming up on Tuesday, August 19, 6-7:30 p.m. at Tilden Community Center. “The Bill of Rights: Yours, Mine, Ours and Theirs” focuses on how the Bill of Rights impacts our everyday lives. Zentangles are on display this month at Tilden Community Center’s display case . Zentangles are an easy to learn, relaxing and fun way to create beautiful structured patterns and images. The Zentangles at Tilden were created by the Playing With Art class held weekly, led by local artist Sue Zinschlag. Feel free to stop by any time this month to see the exhibit.
Fifty Plus Game Nights! Games are not just for kids. Join your friends at Tilden Community Center on Wednesday evenings, June 4 through August 27, 6-8 p.m. for FREE Bocce Ball and Bean Bag Toss (in the Backyard), Pickle Ball (in the gym). All equipment provided–FREE, bring your friends, no pre-registration required.

NEW Graduated Driving Law–this law was passed during the 2014 Legislative Session. Hastings Community Education Driver’s Education will meet the requirements of this new law, another good reason for teens to take their Driver’s Education through Community Ed. Our program is the ONLY program in the area that uses licensed teachers as instructors for both classroom and behind the wheel. For more information about the new law, click here.
