In-Person Driver's Education classes are taught by local, licensed high school teachers. Hastings Community Education is partnering with Safeway Driving School to offer online options as well. 

Please note: 

• The class consists of 10 – 3 hour sessions (30 hours) and includes 6 hours of behind-the-wheel.

• Students must be 14 1/2 years old to take the class and 15 years old to take their permit test.

• 6 hours Behind the Wheel is scheduled upon successful completion of classroom instruction.
