• Attention all students, any items in the lost and found will be donated today after school. Make sure to stop by before then to claim any of your lost items!

• Attention CURRENT WEB leaders:  There will be a WEB leader meeting today during your advisory period.  Please meet Ms. Kasel in room 213 today during advisory.  7th graders will meet during your advisory time and 8th graders will meet during your advisory time.  Please bring a pencil to write with.

• 7th & 8th Graders Spring Fling is happening next Friday, April 25th from 6:30-8pm just for you! DJay Entertainment will be here with all the music and lights.  This is traditionally a dance 7th and 8th graders look forward to as an opportunity to dress up.  However, it is not an expectation that students purchase expensive outfits for this dance.  Clothing worn for a special occasion is perfectly acceptable. Starting talking with your friends and making a plan to be here!

• This is an announcement to all students - Sandals and tennis shoes are welcome in our school. Heelys or shoes with wheels on them are not. If you are wearing shoes with wheels, you need to take the wheels out immediately. This is your warning. Students continuing to wear shoes with wheels on them will be held accountable. 

• The Raider Cove will NOT be open this week due to the short week. It will be open again next Friday.

• Attention Outdoor Club Members: If you are attending today’s hike, please meet in Mr. Shemon’s room immediately after school. Stay tuned to later announcements for any changes due to weather.

• Reminder: Math MCAs will take place next Tuesday and Wednesday.
  We will follow the same schedule as we did for the Reading MCAs.
  Please remember to bring the following on both days:

• A fully charged Chromebook

• A book to read

• Markers or colored pencils

• Wired headphones (corded)

• And most importantly, a positive attitude!

• Remember there is no school tomorrow or Monday.

• Today is our last swim and dive meet of the year. Come cheer us on at 5pm in the pool!

Monday, April 14th - B Day

• Attention all students, any items in the lost and found will be donated Thursday afterschool. Make sure to stop by before then to claim any of your lost items!

• Chess Club meets today.  There is a change for fifth graders though. Fifth grade chess club meets in Ms. Croone’s room 253, which is upstairs above the white house/pod.  6th-8th grade still meets in Mr. Krater’s room 247.

• Reading MCAs will be taking place Tuesday and Wednesday to start our school day. You will report to your advisory class for MCA testing. Make sure to bring a charged Chromebook, a book to read, and a positive attitude!

• Teachers, after the announcements please review the MCA slide in the Raider Ready morning checklist slides. The MCA slide is slide #2. Please also review this in advisory today.

• HMS Sports pictures today after school. This is for Swim & Dive, Track, Boys Tennis, and Girls Flag Football. Swim, Track, and Tennis please wear your team shirt. If you do not have one, I will have extras to use at pictures.
