Tara Nelson
Welcome to Early Intervention!
My name is Tara Nelson and I live in Apple Valley with my family. I am married and have 2 kids; Calvin who’s 10 and in 5th grade, and Maggie who is 6 and in 1st grade. We also have a super soft, fluffy cat named Luna! Our family enjoys staying busy and active in our community. We love to travel, are active with Cub Scouts, and our oldest dances competitively which keeps us on the go constantly.
I have been a teacher for 20 years, most of which have been in early childhood special education. I love my role as an early intervention/B-3 teacher as I am able to connect with children and families, and help empower parents as their child’s first and primary teacher.
