Healing Yoga for Boomers & Beyond
Michele Hoffman is a certified Yoga therapist and has over 15,000 hours of experience working with people with joint replacements and chronic health conditions. If you are not able to get down on the floor, you may still participate and benefit from this class held on Wednesdays from 9-10:15 am at the Tilden Community Center for $45 for 6 sessions or $8/class.

Ricky Larson is a certified “Body Awareness Yoga” teacher who has over 4000 hours of teaching experience. $5/class or buy a punch card (6 classes for $27 or 12 classes for $50). Adaptive Yoga for limited mobility will incorporate seated poses and standing poses using a chair for balance. Class schedule: Mondays (10-11:15 am and 6:30-7:45 pm), Wednesdays (10:45-12 noon), and Fridays (9-10:15 am).
Pickleball is a sport in which four players use solid paddles (think…oversized ping-pong paddle) to hit a perforated ball similar to a wiffle ball, over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports, the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules similar to tennis, with a few modifications. Zumba Gold for Seniors
Zumba Gold takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participant. It is a dance-fitness class that is friendly, and most of all, fun.
